I found a nice little program created by John Maher
that will display a list of all the typed URL's and let you delete any or all.
No uninstall is necessary. It will unzip 2 very small files. A 12.5kb .exe and a readme file.
If you decide you no longer want the program just simply remove the 2 files.

If you prefer to edit the registry you can use the method below.
Enter the registry editor by clicking on Start and Run.
Type regedit and click OK.
Browse to the following locations:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
Internet Explorer\TypedURLs and
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\
Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
In the right hand pane delete the URL1, URL2 etc......
