Backup your Favorites

I have several hundred favorites many of which I would have a hard time finding again if at all. I like to keep a backup of them on a floppy just in case. It only takes a couple of minutes and a floppy, here's how.
  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Select File and Import Export.
This will Start the Import/Export Wizard
  3. Click on Next.
  4. Highlight Export Favorites and click Next.
  5. Highlight the Favorites Folder and click Next.
  6. Ensure there is a tick next to Export to a File or Address.
  7. Insert a blank floppy.
  8. In the address bar type A:\favorites.htm and click Next.
  9. Click on Finish and you should receive the message "Successfully exported favorites".
  10. Open the file that was exported to the floppy, favorites.htm. It should open as a web page and have a list of all your favorites.
  11. To import your favorites if you ever need to, change step #4 above to Import Favorites.
